Abstract
The double-step chronocoulometric analysis was used to study cadmium bromide complex adsorption on mercury. The amount of cadmium adsorbed was studied as a function of cadmium and bromide concentrations and of the initial potential. Experimental evidence shows that cadmium bromide complex does not have the same mechanism for adsorption as does cadmium thiocyanate complex. The study of cadmium chloride complex proved to be impossible due to the very small amount of complex adsorbed.
