Abstract
Intermolecular dipole, intramolecular dipole, and spin-rotation coupling-relaxation mechanisms are studied in a pulsed n.m.r. investigation of trifluorotoluene in carbon disulfide. The viscosity dependence of each mechanism is examined and the relative contribution of each to the overall relaxation rate is estimated.
