Abstract

Crystals of (NH3)5Co-O2-Co(NH3)54 were prepared, and three-dimensional crystallographic data taken around one axis. Space group Pnnm, No. 58 was determined for the crystal with a unit cell in close agreement with previous work on the compound by Vannerberg. The structure was redetermined to the extent that the data justified, and reasonable agreement with Vannerberg's findings was obtained.
